Meredith Ellis has over 2 decades of experience in the interior design industry, honing her skills under the renowned Bunny Williams in New York City, Thomas Beeton in Los Angeles, and famed White House designer Michael Smith, before launching her own firm in 2008. Known for creating sophisticated spaces rooted in tradition but with a modern sensibility, Meredith was recognized in 2016 by Traditional Home Magazine as one of the nation's rising stars of design. In January 2017, she was also named one of Luxe Magazine's "Fresh Faces" showcasing 15 of the top trailblazing talents in the industry. Her most important role as an interior designer is to help each client discover the full potential of their dream home. Tailoring her projects to the client’s personality and lifestyle, Meredith creates spaces that are fresh and creative, with a touch of the unexpected. She skillfully layers materials, patterns, textures, and colors, to give a curated, collected feel to each room. The end result is always a beautiful, livable home that represents the client. Meredith is the founder of JAMES, a to-the-trade showroom with locations in Dallas, Houston and Austin, representing dozens of well-respected lines of fabric, wallpaper, furniture, lighting, and carpets for Texas and neighboring states.
