We split our time between Southern California (where we're busy refurbishing a tiny mid century home) and Northwestern Washington (where we restored a turn of the century cottage and built a custom workshop). As such we have inventory in both WA and CA.
I fell head over heals in love with old stuff and interior design at a very young age. In elementary school I would frequent abandoned buildings and drag home antique hardware in old buckets. This passion lead to purchasing demolition salvage rights in order to try and save as much architectural ornamentation and woodwork as possible. Often times the salvage rights would include homes that were fully furnished. It was like digging through a time capsule which only fueled my passion further and lead to a furniture refinishing business. Over the decades I also built a couple homes from scratch using antique architectural materials. The design process, the thrill of the hunt and deep satisfaction of rescuing old stuff has never left me. I sell items that have been in my own home or that I would be proud to have in my home (if only I could find one more spot). At this point in life I am supposed to be downsizing LOL...
