This stylish and chic Italian stool dates and is hand carved and hand painted, with swagged fabric and stylized lions leg and paws. The woven fabric is a Renaissance motif of birds and flora.
it is possible that this was once used as a table, and was converted to a stool before we acquired the piece.
Note: The last image we came across in a decorator magazine, and we don't recall where the home was located. And you can see the same base used as a table with a marble top in the foreground of the interior photo. less
