The original blue leather has a very nice consistent wear to the seat, with all tufted buttons securely fastened. The leather has surface color loss in some areas, but consistent with 60+ years of use. One 1.5" seam separation near the left rear corner of the seat pad, see picture. The leather is beautiful and feels great. The Brazilian rosewood is in excellent condition, with three small barely noticeable rub marks on the upper back headrest. The rosewood shines and shows so well. The chrome back rests and chrome bases on the chair and ottoman are doing their job and have marks and a bit of pitting from time. Nothing ugly here, just honest wear. Goose down filled cushions are really comfortable. Swivel mechanism is smooth all the way around. All screws and pucks are rock solid. The white Herman Miller metal badge is affixed underside. Overall just a solid, stellar, standout. See less
