This globular Maiolica jar is decorated in the Venetian style with both sides depicting Judith with the head of Holofernes. The style is that of the workshop of maestro Domenego da Venezia. The jar has been very heavily restored. We believe it may be 17th or 18th century but may be earlier.

Condition: The jar is very heavily broken and restored with overpainting and visible cracks. Drilled through the base for a lamp.
