Amazing monumental artisan andirons with movable hanging hook for cooking on open fire hearth -- we don't know if in fact these were made by the legendary Addison Mizner (they are of the right time period, place and style) whose architecture, decor and furnishings virtually invented the Palm Beach "look", with Spanish Colonial, Renaissance Palazzos, and other extravagant and costly pedigree confirming accoutrements for the wealthy Socialites who established this enclave between the wars in Southeast Florida. Across the lagoon from Palm Beach island itself, Mizner had his workshops which created unique artisan iron works, tiles, hand-carved wood and baronial style furniture and so on to create these iconic oceanside mansions.
