This fine watercolor of the Madonna and Child is … more We are selling this high quality Old Master style watercolor painting. This fine watercolor of the Madonna and Child is after Bartolome Esteban Murillo's (1618-1682) "Gypsy Madonna" or "La Virgen de la Leche", the original which was executed in 1675 and currently hangs in the Corsini National Gallery in Rome, Italy . We believe this may be a 18th or 19th century copy.

Condition: Heavy acidification to the paper. Large damage in upper right, some smaller damages along the edges. Bottom portion of the painting has been trimmed.
