"Breakfast Deconstructed" original, surrealist-style acrylic & mixed-media painting on canvas by Virginia artist, Grace Davis. Signed. 16" x 20".
Wonderfully Dali-esque, this piece was part of Davis' 2019 "Red String" series. The focus of the original four part artist series was all about control. With this painting, Davis taps into the fragility of romantic relationships. The red string loosely holding together pieces of a couple's familiar morning routine - a delicate balance of comfort and chaos. The whole thing is literally hanging by a thread!
