Description: This portrait was one of a pair from an upscale estate in central Virginia, both by the same artist. The … more This portrait was one of a pair from an upscale estate in central Virginia, both by the same artist. The other drawing was a portrait of an old woman. (See photos.) The drawings are signed, however the signature is camouflaged and obscured within the strokes of the drawing. This picture features what would appear to be a mother with her child. We estimate that these drawings are from the 1950s, but that is merely an educated guess. We also assume that this drawing is in perfect condition given that it has been protected under glass and with a dust cover on the back of the frame. The picture has been professionally framed. It has a nice teal mat and simple black frame. The frame measures 13¾ inches wide by 10¾ inches tall, and the drawing itself measures 7 inches wide by 9½ inches tall.
