- At a height of only 34 inches tall, this petite chair might just as accurately be classified as a club … more At a height of only 34 inches tall, this petite chair might just as accurately be classified as a club chair rather than a wingback chair. Stylistically, it is a wingback chair, but the small size will accommodate spaces where most wingbacks could never fit. When colleagues saw this chair, they all shrieked, "How cute!" -- although the original upholstery had long lost its luster, and the chair only regained its charm after our master upholsterer did his magic. We found this posh 100% linen chinoiserie print that is not only very refined, but like all good linen upholstery fabrics, it will wear like iron. Featuring rolled arms and cabriole legs, the traditional styling of this chair is timeless and classic. The chair is sturdy, strong, and well crafted. It would have been manufactured some time in the 1970s or 1980s. Given that it came from an estate just north of Greensboro, North Carolina, it is likely that it came from one of the fine furniture manufacturers in that state. The chair measures 34 inches tall with a seat height of 16 1/2 inches above the floor. It is 29 inches wide and 31 inches deep. less
