Another still life if the Dutch Renaissance tradition. Spring daffodils take the stage with pink peonies in a green glass in a 14"x11" oil painting on a inner glow wooden panel. Inner glow panels are made by an artist in Pennsylvania. They are constructed with a birch panel interior than finished with a smooth paper surface (that is lainated onto the wood). I love this smooth surface to create on as it approxiimated traditional gesso surfaces without using toxic or unsustainable materials. The painting is signed on the lower right and signed on the back. The frame measurements are 14 and 7/8" tall by 11 and 7/8" wide. The frame is woord with black lasquer and a thin gold lining. The frame was made by my framer friend Jon or Eric at the framing shop I use. Compositionally, a green glass vase is blanced the a small Chinese plate on the white napkin. A serene beauty enhances calm happiness in your small niche, office or dressing room.
