Marina Movshina is an American artist known for landscape painting, and for her illustrations of children’s books, as well as her still lifes. Her paintings have been selected for the exhibition of distinguished alumni at Carnegie-Mellon’s Centennial Celebration of its College of Fine Art, the Logan Center at the University of Chicago, and the Harlin Museum of the Ozarks. An elected artist member of the American Artists’ Professional League, she is admired for her skill as a painter and draftsman in the handling of space, depiction of light, and expert use of color. She received a B.F.A. from Carnegie-Mellon University and studied at the Art Students’ League, New York, NY.
