These are vintage glasses, however, and there may be some signs of use, even if minute. less

The bowl is clear, clean, simple, and plain. The only embellishment is the single gold trim at the rim. We thought that we had found a full set of Richmond patterned goblets when we bid on them at auction. It was only after the auction as we packed them up that we discovered the surprise. Two of the glasses are in a very similar pattern called "Simplicity" -- very similar, but not exact matches. You can see the difference in the last photo. Simplicity has a second gold ring around the base, and the bowl is conical rather than squared off like the Richmond bowl. The difference was visible when we posed them side by side, but we hadn't noticed when they were all together. It is also less noticeable on a set table. The glasses measure approximately 6 1/4 tall with a rim diameter of 3 5/8. (The Richmond glasses are closer to 6 1/2 inches, and the Simplicity glasses are closer to 6 inches -- about 1/2 inch difference.) The glasses are large enough for a tall cocktail, water, or iced tea. We have discovered no nicks, chips, cracks, or hazing in any of these glasses. (We started with a set of twelve at auction; however, we found flaws in three, which we discarded. That is why we are offering the odd number of nine glasses.) There are seven Richmond glasses and two Simplicity glasses. less
