Description: This dramatic wine glass was produced in Austria for Mikasa. It stands a full 8 1/2 inches tall on an … more This dramatic wine glass was produced in Austria for Mikasa. It stands a full 8 1/2 inches tall on an elongated stem topped by a tulip-shaped bowl. The base of the glass (the base of the stem) is quite simple; however, the base of the bowl features delicate, frosted swirls that mimic the sea foam of breaking waves -- hence the name of this pattern: "Silver Surf". Although the pattern has been discontinued, extra and replacement glasses in this pattern are regularly available at Replacements Ltd and on internet sites. These seven glasses are in impeccable condition and appear to be unused. less
