This majolica is a conversation piece!
It is a large urn vase turned into a lamp.
It is an antique from the Italian renaissance purchased by myself at Villa Melrose, antiques on third, 6061 w 3rd St.
It has all the details and vibrant colors portrayed on the Italian platters and vases exhibited at several museums in Los Angeles.
Don’t miss out on this unique collectors piece.
The lamp shade is included and I had it custom made by Dagmar in West Hollywood. Hand painted in antique style on high quality parchment. A piece of art by itself.

It is in excellent condition for an Italian antique, however, you can see in one of the photos posted that a small crack shows at the top of the vase (by the rim). The antique dealer at villa Melrose had fixed it and glued together carefully before I bought it. The shade covers that area and it is not noticeable unless you know it is there and looking for it.
