Beautiful ceramic vase from the prestigious faiencerie Gien, France.
Hand painted, it presents a pattern from around 1880 inspired by the Italian Renaissance.
With a central black and white medallion depicting a Putti on a Mythological Dolphin, escorted by two Tritons holding a crown on one side, and a Greek Mermaid holding Cornucopiae of plenty on the opposite side.
Truffled with mythological motifs, Griffins, Tritons, Phoenix Birds, Fruit and Cornucopias of abundance.
A beautiful piece of elegant proportions and great chromatic plasticity that will elevate the decoration of your home, a nice gift or a new collection piece.
Sealed on the base GIEN France
Made in France at the end of the 19th century, it is in excellent condition, no breakage or loss.
