- We found this Indian tapestry fabric with a wonderful shade of blue that paired beautifully with our blue Scalamandre velvet … more We found this Indian tapestry fabric with a wonderful shade of blue that paired beautifully with our blue Scalamandre velvet chenille. The elephant print is dominated by shades of gray, dark orange, white, gold and blue over a black background. Our master upholsterer used a gold velvet for the welt cord piping. You can bet your last farthing that no one has a pair of wingbacks like these. As you can see from the photographs, the seat cushions are reversible. The Chippendale style wingbacks were manufactured by Hickory Chair, a company in Hickory, North Carolina -- a renowned company that has manufactured some of North America's finest furniture. These chairs are built to last for generations. They were probably manufactured during the 1970s, and they are sturdy, sound, and strong. The chairs measure 43 inches high at the crest with a seat height of 20 inches. They are 31 inches wide and 31inches deep. Please be aware that all computer monitors show colors slightly differently. less
