You are considering a Mid Century Renaissance Porcelain Piano Woman & Gentleman Courtship Made in Occupied Japan. Fantastic condition with no cracks, fractures, or other significant flaws. It appears truly in original condition. The surface area is clean and dust free.

This Renaissance theme was a popular classic of the period. In this example, the two characters appear to be in a flirtatious mood around the piano. The male with a flower perhaps plucked from her bosom?

This measures 5 1/4" wide x 3 3/4" deep x 5.5" tall and weighs 15oz.

This was made during the occupation of Japan years of 45-52. It bears an unfamiliar hallmark on the bottom with the words " occupied Japan".
