Not a brick and mortar store; note even a store... just clearing the closets and attic or our home.
We both come from families who are eclectic collectors; a collection of this, a collection of that. Collecting has been a familial addiction. We have loved the hunt to find original art by local, international, known and unknown artists, as well as decorative items curated from antique stores, estate sales and auction galleries, online and in person, from an Irish convent to the casbah in Istanbul.
Some items are generational... from our parents. One set of parents traveled the world in the 40s, 50s & 60s, and the other couple filled their home from antique auctions across the Southeast.
It is time these treasures shine with others instead of staying packed away in boxes or gathering dust on shelves.
