Luxe Interiors + Design magazine, in partnership with the City of Beverly Hills and the Friends of Greystone, announces its first national Designer Show House, Maison de Luxe 2011, at Historic Greystone Estate in Beverly Hills, CA. David Phoenix joins the most sought-after interior designers from across the country to transform the fifty-five room, Baronial-style Doheny residence, known asGreystone Mansion. This Designer Show House will be unveiled December 2 - 22, 2011. Architect Gordon B. Kaufman began building Greystone for the Doheny family in 1927. The 46,000-square-foot estate, with formal gardens on 18.5 manicured acres, is situated in Trousdale Estates above famed Sunset Boulevard. Thanks to the generosity of participating designers and sponsors, and through Friends of Greystone, a non-profit organization dedicated to the restoration of Historic Greystone Estate, the property continues to receive lasting improvements and working capital to help preserve its status as one of the great houses in America.
