Wabi Sabi Vintage and Modern:
Curator of fine vintage, antique, and modern home décor, specializing in Mid-Century, Post Modern, and Antique and Vintage furniture, art, and other finely crafted decrorative objects.
Wabi Sabi is the Japanese philosophy that celebrates the impermanence of material objects and the beauty in imperfection. It is with that in mind, that I created Wabi Sabi Vintage and Modern to bring you expertly curated vintage pieces, some with minor imperfections that reveal their richly storied past.
As we continue to live in a world full of temporary, disposable objects, sustainability has become vital to our impact on the world. The goal of Wabi Sabi Vintage and Modern is to promote sustainability and appreciation for fine craftsmanship that stands the test of time.
Located just 30 minutes northeast of downtown Atlanta, Wabi Sabi Vintage and Modern (Wabi Sabi Enterprises, LLC) is open by appointment and has hundreds of well-curated and beautiful items in inventory, with a selection of items appearing in our Chairish shop and many more to choose from in our local inventory. New items arriving weekly. Find us and follow us on Chairish and on social media. We look forward to assisting you with your next full interior design project or in finding the quintessential statement piece for your collection.
About the Curator:
Erika Dillingham has been in the antiques world for most of her life. Growing up outside of Philadelphia, PA, she spent her weekends in a small flea market in Chester County, where she began to appreciate art, antiques, and the stories they tell from a very young age. Throughout her teen-age years, she traveled the United States and developed a love and appreciation for local arts and antiques communities and began honing her craft of curating and collecting. As she entered her 20s, she had the opportunity to travel to Japan and live there for a time, gaining an appreciation for Japanese culture and traditions. She brought this knowledge back with her to the United States and over the past 30 years, has incorporated it into her overall sustainable design philosophy and into the design elements she curates. Being an artist herself, she brings a wealth of knowledge and an eye for design to her role as curator of Wabi Sabi Vintage and Modern. She also brings a lifetime of experience and palpable energy and enthusiasm with her in her approach to every client and every project.
