Los Angeles native Bill Gordean curated his passion for fine antiques and home accessories during visits to his grandparents Beverly Hills home in the late 1970s and 1980s. Jack Gordean, Bill’s grandfather, was a top agent during Hollywood’s Golden Age. As a result, Bill was exposed to the glamorous homes of his grandfather’s many famous clients. These experiences stimulated Bill’s creative design “eye,” for which he has become well known. After a successful run in the antique mall circuit in and around West Hollywood, Bill opened the doors to Villa Melrose Antiques in 1992 and immediately began to win the hearts and homes of his now global clientele.
