Artist Statement:
I am multi-media artist who uses abstraction as a language to portray my feelings, dreams, and experiences. I was born and raised in close proximity to New York City, which would become a big influence on my work. From an early age, the personality and hardiness of the city and its extremes made a lasting impression.
Some of the elements that play the biggest role in my work are surface, color, and mark-making. I use these elements to create a dialogue with the viewer.
