Founded in 1973, the practice has brought all-encompassing and pragmatic approach to interior design while keeping its focus on detailing, proportion, craftsmanship, and impeccable resolution of materials.

Stedila Design’s wide-ranging portfolio of projects includes work for high-end residential, retail and commercial clients, many for whom the firm works repeatedly. At all project scales, central to the firm’s design approach is its respect for the powers of observation and listening. Each project is informed by the client’s needs and lifestyle to offer bespoke design solutions and create a distinctive feeling and experience within a space.

A collaborator on the first LEED Platinum-certified high-rise condominium in the U.S., the firm’s eco-conscious sensibilities are expressed in the selection of materials and finishes, masterful restoration and reuse of antique furnishings, and respectful treatment of existing architecture.
