Spirit Gallery is the first collectible furniture, lighting and decorative arts space in Rabat and a showroom in Paris. Our gallery presents contemporary handmade designs by Jonathan Amar Studio and a harmonious mix of iconic pieces and lesser known yet engaging 20th century furniture. All our pieces are curated by designer Jonathan Amar, a pioneer in the countries interior design scene and one of the first to export a fusion of Moroccan craftsmanship with cutting-edge designs. In forty years he has decorated and designed furniture for more than a hundred hotels, restaurants, clubs and private domains in the world. With a strong focus on Italian mid-century designs, his success strives from sourcing designs with striking shapes, creative techniques and interesting materials that cross the concept of time in the same way a Spirit does. Our 350 square meter workspace includes a luminous gallery, a restoration atelier where our expert artisans in metalwork, woodwork, upholstery, and electrics; restore each piece with the mission to honor a balance between restoration and preservation. The contemporary collection is an ode to movement designed by Jonathan Amar composed of handcrafted articulating lamps and side tables following three years of research and development. His pieces are built between France, Portugal and Morocco with the utmost care for quality and design.
