David Turpin and Amy Allison recently relocated from Chicago and brought their love of interiors, furniture and product design to Florida.
Amy has worked as a designer for notables Holly Hunt and Deirdre Jordan of Troscan. Her career path also included time at the MCA of Chicago and as an art installation artist for Anthropologie. She launched her company SODA by Amy in 2006 and her porcelain housewares, textiles and wallpapers were sold to retail venues nationwide that included SF MOMA, ABC Carpet, Urban Outfitters and Garnet Hill.
Currently she collaborates with her husband, David Turpin, a texture and digital image artist who has worked with Rolling Stone, Downbeat, MSN and other design firms.
Together they create custom and one-of-a-kind textiles, porcelain pieces and art installation work for their new company, soda DNA. Soda DNA was honored an outdoor commissioned art piece for the Northwood creative neighborhood in West Palm Beach as well as a donor wall mixed media installation for Fernwood Botanical Garden in Niles, Michigan. Soda DNA designed and produced art collectibles with Airstream Brands.
Current projects include work in porcelain, digital and hand painted murals for designers in Chicago, Virginia and Florida. Our mural and custom wallpaper were featured in an article for Luxe Magazine featuring the work of Pamela Harvey Interiors.
