I love rescuing old things and helping people to update and beautify their homes with 20th century style. A big part of this business is seeking out and carefully curating vintage treasures that most people don’t have time to search for themselves. I started my own small business, Nothing's New Vintage selling vintage art and objects in 2018 and a year later rented space at Epic Antique, an antiques mall in Seattle, WA. In 2021 I opened a second shop at Lander Street Vintage, also in Seattle.
I have a background in interior design and art which has helped me to be successful at what I do. I’m also a big believer in sustainable living. Anything we can do to make a difference for our home the Earth is meaningful and worthwhile. Choosing vintage pieces for our homes over new is a great way to reduce waste. Old things are also typically more unique, often a better value, and were made to last longer than things produced today. In my opinion, old is definitely the new new.
