Perch offers a forward thinking mix of antique, vintage and contemporary home furnishings and art. We have an extensive wallpaper and fabric library from which we create couture drapery, roman shades, bedding and bench made furniture pieces in-house. Owner Caroline Robert opened Perch shortly after Katrina to fill a niche representing likeminded creative brands like Kartell, Timorous Beasties, Made Goods, Mind the Gap and more whose design sensibilities are beautifully outside the big-box. Both within the shop on historic Magazine Street in New Orleans as well as in owner Caroline Robert's design projects, Classical often plays with punk and Contemporary mingles with grandma chic. In May Perch will celebrate its 18th year in business.
