I was born in South Africa but grew up in Mozambique, surrounded by my Mozambican family. I am of Mozambican and Portuguese descent; I am biracial.

I create artwork that is inspired by the likeness and general emotion of the women that surrounded me growing up but also as a way to connect to my mixed identity. I draw or paint female figures as a reference to the Divine feminine but ultimately, I try to explore the connection between life and death through the use of symbolism and human expression.
