Laura Krey Design

Experience in art and design has been the blueprint for Laura Krey's development as a designer. Painting and drawing have always been passions. A studio art minor informed her vision early in college and a degree in magazine design from the University of Missouri gave her further insight into the application of design principles.

After working as a web-designer, Laura Krey furthered her career in the design arts and earned a M. A. in Art History from George Washington University. After receiving valuable experience working at the Hirshhorn Museum in Washington, D.C. and at Gagosian Gallery in New York, she knew she was missing the act of creating her own artwork and enrolled at the New York School of Interior Design. An internship with Tom Scheerer followed, along with employment at Loffredo Brooks Architects and Kathleen Walsh Interiors.

A myriad of influence and experience allows Laura Krey Design to synthesize from unique sources to create unified, beautiful environments.
