Jessica Rose Bird is a Scottish born, now London based figurative artist. Bird has a background in Fashion Design, studying at Gray’s School of Art and working in the industry for 4 years before becoming a full time artist in 2018.
Brightly coloured, chalk pastel and charcoal drawings of both the nude and fashioned figure are the main focus of Jessica's work. With a particular affection for unique striking faces Bird often works as a live fashion artist backstage at fashion week capturing fleeting moments with her spontaneous marks. Bird's confident line gives her work a unique rawness which has captured the attention of clients including Prada, Versace, Elle and Vivienne Westwood.
Jessica’s work was recognised at the fashion illustration and drawing awards (FIDA) 2020 awards, winning the documentary award.
