I’m an Austin-based interior designer who embraces East Austin funk with the polish of Tarrytown. My designs are unique and have character. They’ve got personality and soul too, but most importantly, they’re comfortably livable with some serious depth that reflects the personalities of those who live there.
Every client is different, and I’m inspired by their unique stories. These spaces aren’t just rooms: they’re little love letters to my clients. I love to take the things that make them swoon and weave them into my designs. Got a killer guitar collection? Let’s get it up on the walls. Obsessed with succulents? Let’s succ’ it up with a living wall and pray it gets enough sunlight to stay alive! My goal is to incorporate your quirks, talents, and passions so when someone walks into your house they’ll say, “Wow, this looks like . . . you!”
Other inspirations come through my travels, music, and seemingly every time I go outdoors. I love, love, love the annual International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York, and I swear the Round Top Antique Fair gives me life twice a year in the spring and fall.
As a full-service design firm, we do it all. From full-blown remodels like this lakeside treasure in Tarrytown and new construction projects (in the works), to decorating this Westlake treehouse and the hippest eateries in town (look out, downtown Austin!), my goal is for my designs to bring joy and interest down to the smallest details. So bring it on, Austin and beyond—no project is too much for J.Fisher Interiors.
