Isabelle Schneider is a photographic artist based in New York City. She is a graduate of Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. Her work has been exhibited by Trestle Gallery, Field Projects, and The Yard Art Program.
Her meditative, lens-based mixed media works are a surreal convergence of shadows and light reflections, evoking a sense of peace and domestic bliss that merges nature with modernity, blending the tranquility of natural elements with contemporary esthetics. Each piece begins with a photograph that is mounted on panel. The edges of the panel are painted and the entire work receives a coat of resin for a glass-like appearance, akin to a window.
