Founded by mother and daughter team Barbara and Alexandra Lisi, IDLE HOUR sources vintage and antique furnishings for interiors that feel layered, personal, and collected over time. From our 6,000-square-foot Connecticut showroom and warehouse, we seek out furniture, lighting, artwork, silver, ceramics, mirrors and objects for entertaining.
Our collection moves comfortably between English and Continental furniture, Hollywood and Palm Beach Regency designs, campaign pieces, faux bamboo, chinoiserie, French barbotine and majolica, and wicker. We source from some of the world’s most venerable markets and private collections, choosing each piece for its artistry, provenance, patina, and capacity to bring character to a room.
