Lenora Wilcox Collins- better known as Honey- got an early start in the design field. Raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Honey Collins spent much of her childhood hiding in fabric samples as she followed her mother, noted Atlanta decorator Susan Wilcox, around the Atlanta Design Center, as well as playing store in the antique shop her mother owned. Needless to say, she was exposed to good design and fine antiques from day one- the perfect start to a life spent in interior design. These early memories have reinforced her belief that your home should be a reflection of all the things you love. Now living with her family on Boston's North Shore, her work takes her across New England and beyond.
From waterfront homes on the coast to urban lofts in New York City, to the classical colonial in Connecticut, Honey Collins holds to the same philosophy. Rooms should have touches of old and new- antiques combined with contemporary pieces create a room with classic bones, but are updated with modern colors and texture. Always wanting the space to be warm and inviting, she finds inspiration from listening to her clients and connecting with their lifestyles. Whether its one room or the whole house, Collins has a knack for blending her ebullient Southern style with the practicality of the northeast to create a classic style with wonderful personality.
