A Derujinsky Design

The pleasure of finally being able to go through the archive of my father, Gleb Derujinsky, and begin the task of sharing his vast imagination is a thrill. Many know his work now from his career as a fashion photographer for Harper's Bazaar from 1950-1970, but far too few know of his endless passion for shooting as an artist. Much like the great photographers like Ansel Adams, whose passion was mountainscapes, Derujinsky took his love of color film and would focus on one subject at a time, be it landscapes, Water, Trees, Vanishing Barns and Fences, Ghost Towns of the Wild West, or as a grounded Pilot his love of skies, clouds and the magic of the stars. He was a relentless romantic, whatever he shot. As his daughter and present for many of these escapades, I can tell you I knew I was in the presence of an artistic genius. I am emotionally moved as I open each box of prints. I look forward to sharing these beautiful artist proofs. Each print is but one. I have a few duplicates, but at that, very few and often different sizes. I consider these Estate Prints and will provide an estate stamp and a copy of the artist's actual signature. Each of the prints available was printed by Derujinsky. These are lifetime prints.
