Since starting her eponymous firm in 2009, Daun Curry’s interiors projects have spanned the U.S., ranging from luxurious loft-like penthouses in New York City and Las Vegas, to season-ready Hamptons homes, and beach- side getaways in California—each spelling a narrative rich in layers and nuances.
While Curry is known for incorporating unique finishes, textures, and materials that enhance the delicate balance between shapes, color, light, and shade, the clients’ history and lifestyle remains the impetus for each design.
Today, Curry’s work has been featured in Architectural Digest, The New York Times, Vogue, The Wall Street Journal, and Elle Décor, to name a few. Her clients range from notable brands to influential individuals, including: The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Sotheby’s, Morgans Hotel Group, Moroccanoil, Jemma Wynne, Naomi Watts, and YouTube star Casey Neistat. In 2019, Curry cinched the highly sought-after Andrew Martin International Interior Designer of the Year Award.
A Parsons School of Design graduate, Curry’s eye is honed by years of experience freelancing in both fashion and interiors. She takes risks, flirts with going over the top, yet always stands just back from the edge. When not on-site at projects, Daun can be found in her ultra chic office space in New York’s hip NoHo neighborhood or enjoying time at home with her husband Bryan, daughter Lyla, and beloved canine companion, Rocky.
