"I am a self-taught, intuitive painter in northern California. For me, creating is all about connection. Be it a pairing of intense colors, bold brush strokes, or subtle mark making - I want to convey the energy and emotion that I feel in that moment, to connect with the viewer. I draw inspiration from great artists such as De Kooning, Pollock, Diebenkorn, Richter, and Van Gogh, as well as by colors and forms found in nature."
