After the last of my two sons moved away in 2009, my husband Rudy and I—now empty nesters—quickly realized that we wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and live a simpler life closer to the ocean. In trying to live a more edited life, we Marie Kondo'd our condo and kept what items fit into our new coastal, urban life.
