Greetings from Bucks County, Pennsylvania. I'm Trish Sammer, your curator for fine (and fine-ish) art, vintage decor, and unusual finds sourced from Bucks County, PA, and the surrounding area. As an art lover and naturally curious person, I'm thrilled to share my discoveries with you.
I got into antique reselling by accident. Or maybe it found me. In any case, I kept unwittingly buying vintage paintings and decor that turned out to be valuable. My first big find (which I'll probably never sell) was a painting that I bought late in the day at a flea market. The seller didn't want to load it back in his truck, so he sold it to me for $75. I later discovered that this artist's works sell for several hundred to several thousand dollars. I bought it just because I liked it.
This kind of thing happens to me a lot. (My most important clue that something is valuable: My husband looks at it and goes "meh.")
