Everything tells a story. Sometimes it’s a story of craftsmanship, or of beauty - those don’t always go hand-in-hand. Sometimes it’s a story of a time and a place. Sometimes it’s a story of the person, or persons, who have owned it.
Other times, the only information you have is what’s right in front of you. That’s when you have to be very quiet and observant…so that you can hear the story. It is romance in a way, and it’s all there. You just have to listen.
Tour my shop. Listed pieces are things that have spoken to me, for lack of a better word. They are things that I find beautiful, or engaging, and that seem to be able to stand alone - that are “more than themselves”, as the great Robert Kime once stated. I hope you can recognize that too. I hope you can hear them.
