As a child, my weekend pastime was antiquing with my grandmother and father, learning the art of auctions and antique spelunking. As an adult, I’ve lived and worked all over Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and North and South America as a diplomat, where I was fortunate to broaden my horizons and antiquing knowledge base. My favorite collections, however, are American: cast iron doorstops, match strikers, clocks, and furniture, as well as other unique decorative pieces that will lend a bit of history and un certain je ne sais quoi to a private home.
