At Amie Sachs Architect, we have extensive experience working with a wide range of budget and project sizes depending on your needs. We believe the design process begins and ends with the client and always strive to exceed their hopes and expectations. Our goal is to create comfortable, modern and ethereal spaces that carefully consider the site conditions and location with a focus on enhancing our clients’ day to day life. Healthy living starts from the inside out and in built space, we believe this is achieved through functionality, scale, light, craft, nuance, and simplicity.
Amie Sachs is a LEED Certified, Registered Architect with a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University. Amie was born into a family that values creativity, which formed her nascent appreciation for architecture. While growing up in New Canaan, CT, Amie’s passion for architecture and design thrived, but it was during her studies at Cornell's College of Architecture and concurrent explorations abroad in Italy, Switzerland, and Eastern Europe that this love truly evolved and flourished.
Since graduating from Cornell, Amie worked at Selldorf Architects and Sam Trimble Design. While at Sam Trimble Design, Amie was the project manager for Lady M Confections which won the Will Ching award in 2015 (IIDA competition - first place) and was featured in Interior Design Magazine. While at Selldorf Architects, Amie was a project manager for the Abercrombie & Fitch Flagships in Tokyo, Milan, Paris, and Copenhagen and the Yves St. Laurent flagships in Paris, Shanghai, & NYC. She also managed a house in Sagaponack, a Penthouse on Fifth Avenue, and worked on the Sims Recycling Center in Brooklyn and the Balcony Lounge at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC.
