As the head curator for Abby Essie Studios, Alaina “Suga Lane” Williams, enjoys the creative process and the element of surprise it brings. Her selection of delectable pieces has evolved along with her style and eye for the divine. The rarer the object de affection, the more likely she is to investigate, sometimes re-designing and painting furniture and small décor pieces, alongside her commissioned original art creations. Procuring for Abby Essie clients has taken Suga Lane on sourcing trips around the world, morphing her passion for adventure into a treasure chest to share.
Abby Essie's collection is constantly evolving just as it's functions are presently expanding within the design and production world. Since the shift of 2020, Abby Essie has been pivoting into serving as a full production company, Abby Essie Studios, a socially conscious entertainment company. Over the years, we have been behind the scenes, providing props and wardrobe to T.V. and film productions throughout the Southeast, as well as worldwide. We provide design services and specialty procurement for private individuals, including celebrity clients.
