Hello, my name is Charles Portolano, curator of the Avocet Arts, in Fountain Hills, AZ., in the heart of the Sonoran desert. My collection spans fifty years of collecting artworks that reflect my love of nature. I have always loved being outside and my collection reflects my deep love of Nature and Mother Earth. There are many different beautiful landscapes in my collection. Landscapes, Seascapes and animals in their native habitats. I am also the Editor of the Avocet, a quarterly Journal of nature poetry. The artwork that l’ve had on my walls has inspired me to write my best poems. My collection is a reflection of my shops’s desire for you to find a work of art that inspires you.
