Working together for over a decade, the Bezdek brothers have become a fine-tuned duo. During adolescence, Tate and Aaron spent a tremendous amount of time outdoors. The clarity mother earth offered in their youth influenced their ambition and drove their certainty that they would one day be craftsmen. Nature not only allowed their internal artists to play, to imagine the possible, it also encouraged them to breath and believe.
Tate and Aaron hand built their glass studio in Orangevale, CA where they now blow glass six days a week. Prior to owning their own studio, both brothers worked as apprentices and then in glass production where they gained skills in quality standards, precision and design.
Utilizing a 560lb furnace, melting batch at 2,440 degrees and investing in the industries finest hand tools, Tate and Aaron are able to continue the legacy of this ancient craft. With Business Partner Ash Koss, 2BGlass has a retro-modern, functional style that is crisp, refreshing and colorful – just like nature. As a brand they aspire to curate comforting and energetic palettes and shapes that provide authentic legacy to the homes they reside in.
