Serve you wine, cocktails, or any other sip-worthy-beverage with this gorgeous authentic hand blown and hand painted 24kt gold Ventian glass pitcher set. The set includes 1 very tall decanter and 5 stemmed goblets. Your guests with feel regal as the tall Italian and classically Venetian decanter pours into their luxe goblets. The set is in the highly desirable and collectable shade of green and features hand-painted geometric line work motifs. The gold designs are even accented with subtle high relief texture. This style used to be all the rage in nineteenth-century Europe. It is still very popular today but only a few distinguished glass masters on Murano still make it. The craftsmanship needed to craft these pieces in a complex three-stage process is amazing. Murano artisans first blow and shape molten glass, then use hot-applique to add enamel and real gold leaf, and finally fire the glass for the third time to solidify the design. The striking set will bring the Italian tradition of fine dining and old-world European glamour to your home. The decanter has it's original glass topper and the bases of all pieces have a beautiful gold rim detailing.
