This Really is a Great Looking Antique American Blue Sponge Ware Decorated Stoneware Kitchen Mixing Bowl. Circa Very Early 1900s. It has Beautifully and Artistically Hand Decorated Spongeware Features that are Done in the Classic American Style. Also Note that the Thick - Heavy Stoneware Body Weighing Just Slightly Under 4 1/2 Pounds. It was most likely made in the Eastern Central Ohio Region. It is in Very Good Cosmetic - Strong - Sound - Perfectly Usable Condition - Displays Nicely. No Cracks - No Repairs. Imperfections Noted - It has an Assortment of Very Small & Medium Chips Around the Top Rim and Base Perimeter. There is Some Light Wooden Spoon Stirring Surface Wear to the Interior Bottom - Basin.
