Gorgeously detailed "Villa" loveseat by Thomas Pheasant for Baker Furniture Co. It features such distinctive elements as a slope arm and a high rolled back that promotes comfort and intimacy. Together they read equally "modern" and "classic" while expanding the definition of easygoing glamour.
The reversible, embroidered cushions are unbelievably plush and the mustard mohair uphostery is a feast for sight and touch. The tapered legs are part of a solid maple frame construction. Other features include a bullion fringe, two matching lumbar pillows and rich piping throughout. Bordering between mustard and beige, the color would accentuate warm, cool, and monochromatic interiors with equal ease.
One of the most architecturally transparent Baker designs, the Villa line by Thomas Pheasants "floats" in your interior by merging its volumes with that of your room--it almost looks like an oversize bracket or corbel that ties the rest of the room together and sweeps the eye upward.
