Peter Max
Peter was born in Berlin Germany in 1937. As a child Peter spent some time in China before his family decided to move to the United States. Peter received his art education from three places, Pratt Institute, the School of Visual Arts, and the Art Students League, all in New York. He would open his own studio, which he would close in 1964 to begin producing his own paintings. He is known for his colorful artwork and clever images. He is exhibited all over the world in museums and galleries. less
